We offer a number of activities at our club including:

Group Exercise

We offer a variety of classes in our group exercise program. Classes are run in 16 week sessions and are available for a nominal fee (see the club for more details). We also offer drop ins to ANY of our group exercise classes at $3 for a member and $6 for a guest/non-member. We also have drop in punch cards available at the front desk. Classes are FREE to members during Promo Week and $6 to non-members.

GROUP EXERCISE CLASS DESCRIPTIONS


30/30: This class always includes 20 minutes of cardio and at least 20 minutes of toning, and at least 10 minutes of abs and cool down. Every class is different surprising the body each time. Some examples of the types of styles you may see in this class are: interval training (2 minutes cardio followed by 2 minutes toning), quick step and toning intervaled, dance cardio for an hour, dance cardio mixed with toning, floor cardio intervaled with toning moves, across the floor cardio and toning, circle circuit, boot camp style class, etc. We use a variety of equipment. BEGINNER KICKBOXING: : A 30 minute class that blends martial arts techniques and circuit training to strengthen and tone your body while getting a great cardiovascular workout. ALL Fitness Levels Welcome! Instructor Amber


BEGINNER SAMPLER: A 30 minute workout taught by a different instructor every week in a different class style, letting you experience all that our Group Exercise Program has to offer. Front Desk will have who is teaching each week. ALL Fitness Levels Welcome! Rotating Instructors


BIKEFIT: 45 minute cycling excursion. Be sure to arrive about 5 minutes early for your first ride so your bike can be custom fit to your body. We simulate hill climbs, flat rides, interval sprints and music to motivate. Participants control their own level of intensity. An abdominal workout will be included the last 15 minutes of class. CYCLE & LIFT: This 60 minute workout combines 30 minutes of indoor cycling to improve your cardiovascular fitness level with 30 minutes of strength training exercises to increase muscle tone and strength. ALL Fitness Levels Welcome! Instructor LeeAnna


FITNESS MIX: A 45 minute class consisting of - 20 min of cardio (different each week) - 15 min of weight training (focus on different muscle groups each week) - 10 min of abs and stretching. Mix up your workout today! ALL Fitness Levels Welcome! Instructor Jessica


HIPS, BUTTS & GUTS: A 30 minute class designed to work your abdominals and lower body. Each week we will work the abdominal and lower body utilizing different toning exercises. ALL Fitness Levels Welcome! Instructor Jessica


PILATES: 45 minutes of movement and breathing that strengthens and tones the "powerhouse", targeting the stomach muscles and tightening the waist. Strengthens "long" muscles. We will stretch tight muscles to help prevent injuries, mobilize stiff joints and improve our breathing technique. ALL Fitness Levels Welcome! Instructor Kim


S & S (Stretch n’ Strengthen): 45 minutes. A great class for every age and fitness level! This class emphasizes two vital components of fitness: flexibility and strength. It will help you increase overall body strength, flexibility and range of motion. Exercises will be done using a variety of equipment such as free weights, benches, resistance bands and exercise balls with occasional cardio. ALL Fitness Levels Welcome! Silver Sneakers CARDIO CIRCUIT: The 45 minute cardio Circuit is an advanced Silver Sneakers workout. The class includes standing non-impact choreography designed to increase cardiovascular and muscular endurance alternated with standing upper body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a Silver Sneakers ball. Silver Sneakers CARDIOFIT: Get Up & go with an aerobics class for you – safe, heart-healthy and gentle on the joints. The workout includes easy-to-follow low-impact movement, and upper-body strength, abdominal conditioning, stretching and relaxation exercises designed to energize your active lifestyle. Silver Sneakers YOGASTRETCH: A 45 minute blend of 3 yoga styles to create a harmony of movement for the whole body. It is taugh from a seated position to enhance the flow and energy created in combination with restorative breathing exercises. STRETCH FOR SPORTS: Designed to work the entire body by holding and moving through stretches. We may utilize bands and various equipment to help lengthen tight muscles as well as enhance flexibility and balance. T-N-T (Tone ‘N Tighten): 60 minutes. All fitness levels will benefit from this incredible body toning class. You will be utilizing free weights, resistance bands, exercise balls as well as your own body weight some cardio intervals may be mixed in. INTERMEDIATE - ADVANCED Exercisers! Instructor Laura


TOTAL BODY: : A work out designed for ALL Levels. We will sculpt and strengthen specific muscle groups using weights, the ball and mat. Some light cardio may be mixed in as well to help burn those calories. This 45 minutes class will help to increase muscle tone and create definition while burning calories. ZUMBA: 45 minutes of easy to follow moves fused with Latin rhythms. The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat and having FUN! ZUMBA TONING: When it comes to body sculpting, Zumba Toning raises the bar (or rather, the toning stick). It combines targeted body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with Latin-infused Zumba moves to create a calorie-torching, strength-training dance fitness-party. Students learn how to use lightweight, maraca-like Toning Sticks to enhance rhythm and tone all their target zones, including arms, abs, glutes and thighs. Special Programs

Resolution Booster Training Program: This program is designed to help you boost your New Year’s Resolution to last past January through Spring Break. Whether you are looking to lose weight, improve your blood pressure, pump up your workouts, lose body fat or just feel healthier, this program is for you! For 9 weeks you will be assigned to a team run by one of our certified personal trainers. Every week you will have a weekly group training session, a weigh-in to track your progress, a weekly email to give you motivation and a weekly challenge. Starting 2/6/12 - 4/8/12. Cost $45. Racquetball Leagues & Lessons

Free Racquetball Lessons: On the 3rd Saturday of every month at 11:00 AM lessons are taught by Jay Gallien, one of the top players in the area! Members must sign up at the front desk at one day before the lesson.
